As part of preparations for the upcoming Sultan Omar 'Ali Saifuddien College Diamond Jubilee, a 75-times Khatam Al-Qur'an ceremony was launched on 3rd October night.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Wijaya Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Aziz bin Begawan Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Umar, Member of the Privy Council. The ceremony took place at the College's Surau.
